Well, the municipal general election results are in, and the elbows up crowd must be celebrating!
The Town of Cochrane has released the unofficial results of the 2025 municipal election. Results indicate that Mayor Morgan Nagel and six councillors have been elected.

Councillor: Paul Singh
Councillor: Tara McFadden
Councillor: Laura McDonald
Councillor: Mikayla Gale
Councillor: Patrick Wilson
Councillor: Marni Fedeyko
Imagine that, Tara McFadden will now be able to spend 22 years of her life on town council, the very epitome of a “career politician”. Four of incumbents (Nagel, McFadden, Fedeyko, and Wilson) are still on council. Nagel had trumpeted “It’s time for change”. Pity our town.
40.1% of eligible voters cast their ballots.
